It is preferred over other in its category because of its real time interactions, data efficiecy, awesome mobile experience, and cheaper access. WhatsApp is known to person satisfactorily on low bandwidth connection showing no greed for data consumption. It serves as a cheeaper alternative to SMS, especially among the youth which represent over 65% of the population in Nigeria.
Officially, WhatsApp has not announced any PC or Laptop version. But there are quite a number of software that convert Android applications to PC version.
BlueStacks converts converts Android apps into PC version. I will be sharing sharing how to use WhatsApp on PC or Laptop using BlueStacks. Follow the steps below:
1. Download BlueStacks here.
2. Install the downloaded Bluestacks app.
3. Open the BlueStacks application after installation. Locate the search bar on the software.
4. Type "whatsapp" in the search box and download it.
5. Open the file with Bluestacks.
Now you can Install and Activate your WhatsApp this way:
1. Install the downloaded WhatsApp on your PC or laptop.
2. After installation, you will be ask to enter your mobile number.
3. You will have to verify your mobile number via SMS or call.
4. Enter the verification code sent to you, after which your WhatsApp is activated and ready for use on your PC or Laptop.
Note: BlueStacks make use of high graphic card, you need Window XP Service Pack 3 or above
