How to Use Airtel BlackBerry Unlimited Plans on Modems and all Smartphones

Airtel Nigeria prides itself as the network with widest 3G coverage in Nigeria. Recently the network introduces BlackBerry Unlimited plans, the name unlimited as the name indicates does not mean that there is no data limit. The Airtel BlackBerry Unlimited plan only gives more data allowance to subscribers. For instance, their BlackBerry Unlimited Monthly is N1,500 with a data allowance of 2 gigabyte.
  
But unlike the previous BlackBerry subscription plans, the unlimited plan does not work on modems and other devices. But immediately you insert back your sim back into a BlackBerry device it starts working seamlessly.

BlackBerry subscription is cheaper and you get more data allowance when you subscribe. For instance, BlackBerry Social Monthly on the network is only N1,200 and you get 1 gigabyte which you can use on any device. On the same network it cost N3,000 for 1 gigabyte for a regular subscription.

To use the unlimited plan on any device of your choice, simply recharge N100 after subscribing. Dial *141*712*11# this will give you 10MB but you will have activated the unlimited BlackBerry to work on non BlackBerry devices like Android, iOS, Windows phone etc. Instead of spending N6,000 to buy 2 gigabyte you only get to spend N1,600.
