In this part of the world the BlackBerry device is still
the number one smartphone especially in Nigeria and South Africa, enjoying an
estimated 60 percent share of the smartphone market. Android is coming up
fast though, especially with the low budget Techno Android devices.
The BlackBerry device is in this comfortable position because the affordable subscription allows users to do more because of its data compression abilities. Buying a data plan on an iOS or Android is expensive and you get to do less. So, most smartphone users sticks with their BB as it is fondly called. Now, to the main course.

Having to do a hard reset/reboot after a subscription or
after an installing/uninstalling an application may be annoying. But more
annoying is when you have to pull the battery out of the phone especially when
you are in the middle of something.
Performing a Soft Reboot
A soft reset is a three-key combination that reboots the
BlackBerry smartphone without having to pull out the battery. A soft reboot can
be done by pressing Alt, Right Shift and Delete
buttons simultaneously as you can see in the picture below.
Removing your battery or using a Soft Reboot method
accomplishes the same objectives as the case may be. However a soft reboot can
only be perform on a BlackBerry smartphone with the QWERTY keyboard.
I hope you find the post helpful.
Cheers...
