How I Use More than One Email Accounts on BlackBerry Complete Plans.

On Etisalat Nigeria and MTN Nigeria you can now subscribe to the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) at just N1,500. This plan affords you the privileges to use 10 emails accounts, 1 Blackberry email account, BBM, Internet access, Social Networking Apps, and Blackberry App world.

Bad services from the ISPs make me switch back and forth between them, I have a soft spot for Etisalat and MTN though cause of the speed I get on their internet services.

Now, Etisalat Blackberry complete monthly comes with the features below:

• Access to the internet
• Access to social networking services
• Access to Instant Messaging service
• Access the Blackberry Messenger
• The integration and use of only one (1) third party email address (e.g. yahoo, gmail, MSN etc)
• Creating and using one (1) Blackberry email address (e.g. user@etisalatng.blackberry.com)

The above features are almost the same with Airtel Blackberry Complete Plan, Glo Blackberry Complete Plan and MTN Blackberry Complete Plan. If you are on the Blackberry complete plan and you need to use more than one email address, this is a simple revealing way to start using more than one mail

1.     Create an Email Address with your Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) provider e.g. adebayo@etisalatng.blackberry.com

To do this, go to http://etisalatng.blackberry.com/ and follow the easy steps.

Kindly arm yourself with the knowledge of your BB PIN and IMEI.

Be Informed that to create Airtel’s, Glo’s and MTN email, go to http://airtel.blackberry.com/, http://gloworld.blackberry.com, and http://mtn.blackberry.com respectively and follow the easy steps on their pages.

2.     Forward your other Emails to the Email Address you created with your BIS provider

I would like to use Gmail as an example. The same steps apply to other email providers. Though to do this, your emails must have the capacity to forward emails to other email address. To do this, kindly follow these steps.

Log into your other email address e.g. Gmail

• Go to your mail settings
• Click on 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP' 
• Next, click on 'add a forwarding address'   
• Type the email address you created into the box provided and click on 'Next' to confirm forwarding.
• Click on 'Proceed' and follow the easy steps that follow.                                                                   
• Leave POP Download and IMAP Access enabled
• Click on 'Save Changes' and you are done.

3. Use the Email Address you Created with your BIS provider on your Blackberry.

Follow the following steps to integrate an email address with your BlackBerry smarthphone:

• Locate and click on the 'Setup' folder.
• Within the 'Setup' folder, click on 'Email Settings' and if prompted, review the terms of agreement.
• A listing of various email providers will now be displayed. You will see Yahoo, Gmail etc but since you created an email address with your BIS provider, you will need to select 'Other'.
• Provide the email address and password and in most cases and save settings.

That’s all you need to do! You will start receiving all the emails that gets into your other email addresses in your Blackberry email.
